Linda Bergquist has been a church planter and church planting teacher for twenty-five years. She also has experience in the area of church consultations and urban ministry to the poor and assists her husband, who is a ministry center director in the Lower Haight district of San Francisco.  
  Laurie has been on staff at Mariners Church for 15 years as Pastor of Local and Global Outreach and Serve Leader on the Executive Ministry Team. During that time Outreach has gone from a budget of $10,000 to over $4 million today. Last year 4,797 people served those in need locally in their community through mentoring, tutoring, summer camps, ESL and more. Elders, Pastors and Leaders agree this has been the defining ministry at Mariners, impacting the vision, health and growth of the church.  
 

Rick is the founder and lead pastor of New Life Church in Central Arkansas. A former professional golfer, Rick set aside his future in golf to follow God's call and move his family to Conway, AR to start NLC in 2001. New Life is a growing church with 4 campuses and 11 total services. Rick is also one of the founding pastors of the Association of Related Churches (ARC), an organization designed to plant churches and impact the world through missions.


 
 

Glen is the Executive Director of Chase Oaks Church in Plano, TX, wh 12 y. Glen's passion is to help the church be as effective as it can in fulfilling God’s mission through strategic planning and leadership development.


 
 

In 1982, Pete went on a mission trip to the Philippines with Sports Ambassadors. There he came to grips with the fact that God was calling him into ministry too. He observed a young man pastoring a church of 5 people in a small town where the rest of the town was very hostile. That man had a profound impact on Pete. Pete and his wife Libby arrived in Dallas on January 4, 1992, to lead Bent tree Bible Fellowship and have been serving there since.


 
 

Martin is the Senior Pastor of IMI Church, a Lutheran church in Stavanger, Norway with approx. 800 members. He and his wife, Irene, have been leading the church for over 30 years, starting in 1979 with about 30 elderly people. IMI is now one of the most dynamic and influential churches in Norway. The church’s vision is to turn priceless people into devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. Martin’s goal is to be a part of what God is doing today and see people’s lives touched by Christ. Dale Dawson is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bridge2Rwanda, a global non-profit enterprise that fosters economic development, entrepreneurship, education and leadership in Rwanda. In 2003, Dawson left his career at a
Little Rock, Arkansas-based investment banking firm to begin a mission to help re-build Rwanda. The other co-founder of Bridge2Rwanda is Bishop John Rucyahana, an Anglican Bishop from Rwanda who is internationally renowned as an evangelist, spiritual leader and social entrepreneur. Today Dale passionately lives his Divine calling: “To build a bridge between here and Rwanda and transform lives at both ends.”

 

 
 

I grew up in Dalton, Georgia...loving the people here, the mountains, and the Georgia Bulldogs. I left after high school to go to the Naval Academy in Annapolis where I served 5 years active duty on two warships. My wife, Beth, is full of faith and passion. We married in 2001 and in early '02, God called us back home to start Rock Bridge. Steve and his wife Jackie have been married for 26 years and reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They are the proud parents of one son and five daughters and have recently added a daughter-in-law, son-in-law and a new grand-daughter. They are very actively involved in Council Road Baptist Church in Oklahoma City along with many other national and international Christian charities.

Prior to joining the LifeChurch.tv team in 2001, he started and sold two technology companies, consulted with start-ups on venture capital funds, and even traveled and performed with a Christian rap group. Jorge was born in El Salvador and has been in ministry for over ten years. God has been very faithful to him, and he has been given a wonderful family!   In the summer of 2003 Dave led a team from Kensington Community Church in Troy, MI to Salt Lake City to prepare the planting of K2 the Church. K2 launched in September of 2004 and currently has two venues on its Salt Lake campus and a campus in the southern suburbs. Dave is also involved in Vision 360 Utah with the hopes of helping every church that plants in the state be successful. Susie is the love of his life and 10 years of marriage have brought about three energetic, passionate kids - Moriya, Ashlyn and Caleb.  
  Greg is a diehard Cleveland Browns fan that dies hard every year. He has traveled to Peru, Ecuador, Ireland, Tanzania, England, France, Holland, South Africa, Wales, Northern Ireland, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti and Scotland. And there’s nothing Greg would rather do than have a cup of coffee with his wife, Julie, at their local Starbucks. He enjoys bungee jumping, whitewater rafting and skydiving. The faster the roller coaster the better. Greg’s most recent adventure was to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, which he did to raise funds to support children orphaned due to AIDS. He has read more than 50 books a year for the past 20 years but his favorite is to read the Bible with his children, Tabitha and Elijah. Greg used to travel and sing with Rich Mullins and he has had breakfast with Jerry Falwell. He would rather spend an hour with Howard Stern than an hour with the Pope. Greg loves Kraft macaroni and cheese out of a box, Ho Ho’s, filet mignon and lobster with drawn butter—jalapenos on everything. Greg Nettle currently serves as Senior Pastor of RiverTree Christian Church located in Massillon, Ohio.

  Omar Reyes leads NorthWood’s glocal impact ministries. Omar was born and raised in Belize, Central America . Attended St John's College of Business in Belize before moving to the United States 23 years ago. Omar served 6 years in the United States Marine Corp trained in management. He has served orphanages in Guatemala, helped plant churches in Belize and provided leadership training and helped rebuild Honduras after Hurricane Mitch. He and wife Elisa have four children. His passion is to mobilize the church and its resources to make a transformational impact globally and locally.  
  Scott Ridout is the lead pastor at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married 21 years and have 3 kids: Jon, Ashlyn and David. Scott also serves on the leadership teams of local organizations: the Vision Arizona church planting movement; Valley Pastors of Influence Network; and Vision Abolition, which is dedicated to the prevention, rescue and restoration of victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation worldwide. Scott also serves as the Director of Generosity for Converge Worldwide, helping churches have greater impact in their communities and the world through generous living.  
  Larry retired from the City of McKinney after serving as City Manager for seven years. Prior to his retirement he served in law enforcement and public safety (police, fire, and municipal court) for more than thirty-five years, mostly as Chief of Police. He was hired by the Board of 3eMcKinney (Engage, Equip and Empower) in February of 2008 when the organization was formed with a restructured Board from McKinney Neighborhood Outreach.  
 

Jackie Roese, who was born and raised in upstate New York, came to know Christ as her personal savior in her early twenties. In 1991, feeling that God had called them to “get off the fence” Jackie and her husband Steve relocated to the Dallas Area in order to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. While in Seminary, Jackie earned her Master’s Degree in Christian Education and Women’s Ministry. During their first five years in Dallas she supported her husband in an organization that equipped Pastors in economically depressed countries. Her husband is currently Executive Pastor at Irving Bible Church. Jackie is the Teaching Pastor to Women at her church. She teaches the Bible to women, writes Bible study curriculum and pastors women. Jackie also trains other women at IBC to teach and writes Bible Study materials. Recently the teaching team at IBC has offered a “Preaching Course” to women in surrounding local churches. Currently Jackie is working on a preaching doctorate at Gordon Conwell Seminary. Her desire is to preach the Word and to equip other women around the country to do the same.

The East Texas Blessings in a Backpack Program has been feeding hungry children on weekends since 2006. Currently 1,212 backpacks are distributed WEEKLY to local schools and the Lord has richly blessed the program and all that participate.
